FIT: The Merino Shearling Striped Hood has only one size yet it will fit nearly everyone with comfort. The hood sits on the collarbones of the wearer and the hood can hang off the back or be worn. It is not meant to have a tailored fit and is supposed to be loose around the wearer's head.
FEATURES: This Fur Hood is meant to be a head piece that is used for warmth. It's exterior is made from Merino Shearling and faux fur. The interior is made from a medium weight duck canvas. This piece can be fully zipped up and unzipped. The zippers on the sides of the hoods are meant to replicate someone's eyes when the hood is fully zipped up. The wearer can unzip these zippers to improve their vision but it is nothing too ideal.
PRODUCTION: All products are sewn in house in Dallas, Texas, USA where we cut and sew each piece by hand that we sell. Production is a very personal stage of a relationship from creator to customer where we strive to build a reputation of sustainability, durability, and trust. The production of this jacket as a couple components like the exterior. The exterior is a repetitive but creative process. We make the piece look random but organized so that all pieces of the shearling fur are headed for the same direction but not in a straight line. We get this shearling from a vendor out of New York along with the faux fur which comes from a different vendor in the same area. We cut and sew each strand of the shearling fur individually. After creating the exterior we do the interior which is a shorter task but is still necessary. We sew the sides together and then add the full horizontal zipper. After that we finish up by finger sewing different parts of the jacket to make sure it is perfect and ready to be sent out. We then tag it and ship it right to you.
WASH: We recommend a disinfectant wipe used for any cleaning. Do not laundry wash this nor dry with any extreme heat because it will damage the fur.
